Description

Notice is hereby provided of the intent to issue a request for proposals (RFP) for Encore Information Technology (IT) Solutions, a follow-on to the existing Defense Enterprise Integration Services (DEIS) II contracts, which expire on July 1, 2002. The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO) plans to place the RFP on the DITCO Contracting Opportunities Home Page at https://www.ditco.disa.mil/dcop/Public/ASP/dcop.asp by 15 Oct 2001, where it will be available for downloading; proposals are requested to be submitted by 21 Nov 2001. Encore is required to continue support and delivery of enterprise-level IT solutions (products and services) for the Department of Defense (DoD), other Federal agencies, state and local governments and U.S. Allies. Contracts resulting from this RFP will be Multiple Award, Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (ID/IQ). The anticipated period of performance is seven (7) years (3-year base period and 4 one-year option periods). There are two award categories: full and open, and small business set-aside. Encore supports a partial set-aside in which the Government intends to award a minimum of two contracts to qualified small businesses; NAICS code 541512 (Computer Design Services/$18M) applies.
