Description

Project involves routine preventative maintenance and repairs on heating and air conditioning equipment located at the National Park Service, National Capital Region, Washington, D.C. However, contractor must possess a certified mechanic to repair and maintain a Carrier 23XL Liquid Screw Chiller. A base period of award to September 30, 2002 with an opportunity of 4 option years is expected to be awarded for this contract. This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and award will be based in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ), Solicitation No. Q3000020005. Tentative solicitation issue date is November 1, 2001. A firm-fixed price contract will be issued from this solicitation. This procurement is 100-percent set-aside for small business concerns. The estimated magnatude of this requirement is approximately $9,000 to $11,000 per year.
