Description: Questions and answers are provided as follows: Q: Is there any technical data available? A: SANG purchased the GIAT via a Direct Commercial Sale; therefore, there is no available technical information on the end item or the item requiring repair. This includes technical drawings. Q. What quantity is equal to a 'lot'? A: On Page 2 of the solicitation, under Item No 0001, a lot is defined as the 'fixed price to TTI the equipment listed at Attachment 1'. When proposing, offerors should propose a 'one lot, fixed-price' to TTI all items, but include a breakdown of the per- unit-price to TTI each individual item. Q: The Statement of Objectives states the components will be repaired to OEM Standards -- are these American standards, or do they have to meet French (GIAT) government standards? A: OEM stands for 'Original Equipment Manufacturer.' As the OEM is GIAT, the items must meet GIAT standards. Q: What are the test requirements of the cylinders? A: The testing requirements for the cylinders will be specified in the OEM standards. Q: Will test fire testing be required? A: Only if the OEM standards require testing. Q: Are the material requirements available in the U.S? A: This information is unknown. Q: Is there any procurement history available for this FMS work? A: There is no FMS procurement history for this item.
