Description

The 42d Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB, AL, intends to award a sole source contract to Vanguard Industries East, Norfolk VA for the following line items: 0001 Air Force Honor Guard cap (QTY: 1,144 EA); 0002 Air Force cap device-Hap Arnold (QTY: 1,144 EA), 0003 Air Force Honor Guard belt (QTY: 1,144 EA), 0004 Air Force white cotton gloves (with Gripper) (QTY: 1,144 EA), 0005 shoulder cord, white, no tip (QTY: 1,144 EA), 0006 Flag harness, 2? white web, double cross belt with cup (QTY: 572 EA). Delivery will be FOB destination and accomplished 45 days after receipt of order. This is a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This will be a firm-fixed price contract. If there are any other businesses that can provide the specified accessories, they must respond to this notice before 1200hrs (CDT) on 28 September 2001. If no responses are received by the above date, a sole source contract with Vanguard Industries East will be pursued.
