Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound (FISCPS) is soliciting for a G-7 switchgear unit in accordance with MIL-S-16036K(SH) with ACB-4000hr circuit breakers. Contractor must provide results of high-shock and vibration testing unless vendor provides documentation of previous shock and vibration compliance. Inspection at origin and acceptance at destination. Place of delivery is Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, WA. Delivery desired by 31 May 02. The unrestricted commercial solicitation will be issued on or about 10 Oct 01 with a closing date 30 days thereafter. When issued, the RFP will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link www.neco.navy.mil. All offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFP from this website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFP. No telephone or fax requests for the RFP package will be accepted. An email request to jennifer_e_santiago@puget.fisc.navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFP from the NECO website. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFP / amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFP and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your quote nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same. Notes 9 and 26 apply.
