- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote under solicitation number W81C3912610112. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 335999. The U.S. Army Robert Morris Acquisition Center at White Sands Missile Range, NM has a requirement for a RF Traveling Wave Tube Amplifier, Frequency 18-26.5 GHz, Output 40-45 Watts Continuous Wave, Single Phase Power, 120VAC 50/60Hz, GPIB IEEE-488 Remote Control, RF Sample of Output , Rear Panel RF Input/Output Connectors, VSWR Protection, Gain Control. FOB is Destination White Sands Missile Range, NM. Delivery date is 30 December 2001. Testing and Acceptance will be accomplished within 30 days from the date of receipt of the equipm ent at White Sands Missile Range, NM. The following Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offers Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certification Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes of Executive Orders Commercial Items; FAR 52.246 -2 Inspection of Supplies Fixed-Price; FAR 52.232-36 Payment by Third Party; DFARS 252.212-7000 Offeror Representation and Certification Commercial Items and DFARS 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Order s Applicable to Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items. All responsible sources must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), prior to award. Vendors that have a bona fide interest must also present clear and convincing evidence of the ir capability to provide this requirement in writing. All responsible sources will be considered by the Government. Offerors shall identify current GSA schedules, if available.
