Description

This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This is intended to be a sole source award to Mantech Systems Engineering Corp., Hollywood, FL. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. Mantech is the sole developer of the STAIUs and has the technical documentation and/or drawings. Request For Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-01-Q-6677. NUWC Division Newport intends to purchase the following items: Item 0001 Three (3) Special Towed Array Interface Units (STAIUs), Model TB-16F STAIU with a required delivery date of no later than 180 days after contract award; Item 0002 Upgrade of seven existing STAIUs to individually buffer front panel analog data with a required delivery date of no later than 350 days after contract award. F.O.B. Destination Naval Station Newport; Newport, RI. NAICS Code is 541330; size standard is $20M. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items applies. A completed copy of FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items must be submitted with quote.
