- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request for Quotation (RFQ) No. 01Q0039 is issued through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. This action is a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 339920 and the small business size standard is 500. The U.S. Secret Service (USSS) has a requirement for a total of 31,980 linear feet (l.f.) of Gallery Net Fencing with composite poles factory assembled (Model No. 41483). The minimum requirements are as follows: Each section to measure 4' (height) by 82'; each section to include nine (9) composite poles, evenly distributed, factory assembled; 10cm square mesh; twisted 2.5mm UV polyethylene cordage. The Contractor shall deliver the complete quantity, FOB Destination, with all freight included in the delivered price, within 30 days of award. Delivery to U.S. Secret Service, Salt Lake City, UT 84116. The following line items are to be packaged separately. Line Item 0001: Eighty-three sections (total of 6,806 l.f.) of Gallery Net Fencing with 747 composite poles, factory installed; Line Item 0002: Fifteen (15) sections (total of 1,230 l.f.) of Gallery Net Fencing with 135 composite poles, factory installed; Line Item 0003: One Hundred Sixteen (116) sections (total of 9,512 l.f.) of Gallery Net Fencing with 1,044 composite poles, factory installed; Line Item 0004: One Hundred Fifty-Nine (159) sections (total of 13,038 l.f.) of Gallery Net Fencing with 1,431 composite poles, factory installed; Line Item 0005: Four (4) sections (total of 328 l.f.) of Gallery Net Fencing with 36 composite poles, factory installed; Line Item 0006: Thirteen (13) sections (total of 1,066 l.f.) of Gallery Net Fencing with 117 composite poles, factory installed. All quotations must include a unit cost per section, as well as the total price for the full quantity of 390 sections (total of 31,980 l.f.). Please confirm manufacturer/model number of fencing in quotation. The following FAR Provisions and Clauses are applicable unless otherwise noted: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items; 52.212-2 Paragraph (a) insert: "The Government intends to award a firm, fixed price purchase order to the responsible offeror whose quotation, conforming to the specification as provided herein, is lowest in price. The proposed fencing will be evaluated as acceptable or unacceptable, determined on technical sufficiency as per the specification. 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items; 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items.
