Description

The government intends to award a sole source, Firm Fixed Price, requirements contract for Receiver, Preselector and Amplifier, P/O AN/APX-72. The contract will be for a period of up to two years and will be awarded to MPD, Inc. 316 East Ninth Street, Owensboro, KY 42303. This contractor has successfully produced units in the past that have proven to be compatible and are operational in all variations of this system. The required delivery schedule is 100 units due 90 days after contract award with 200 units due each month thereafter for a total of 2400 units per year. The US Army Communications Electronics Command (CECOM) has established the IBOP Website to allow electronic transmittals of Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and Invitations for Bid (IFBs) from CECOM to industry.
