Description

Naval Air System Command (NAVAIR) Headquarters intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price modification to N00019-00-C-0242 with Northrop Grumman Corporation (NGC) for fabrication of up to eighteen (18) Wing Center Sections (WCS), for the EA-6B aircraft. The EA-6B wing consists of the outer wing panel (composed of a right and left outer panel and WCS). The WCS is the primary structural member and attaching point, which strengthens and extends the airframe life. The modification will provide for up to eighteen (18) kits. NGC is the designer, developer and sole manufacturer of the EA-6B and is the only known source that has the necessary aircraft drawing and schematics, technical qualification and depot/rework capabilities to support and meet EA-B program schedule.
