NIST Cryptographic Module Validation Program (CMVP) Washington Plaza Hotel Washington, DC October 24 and 25, 2001 The conference/workshops will be focused on cryptology. The purpose is to provide information on the state of the Crypotographic Module Validation Program (CMVP) and how FIPS 140-2 will influence the future of CMVP. At the workshop, NIST will invite speakers who have intimate working knowledge of FIPS 140-2, CMVP, Common Criteria, and other related cryptographic standards. Sponsor: National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) and Communications Security Establishment of Canada Audience: Workshop participants will primarily be individuals that require an understanding of CMVP and FIPS 140-1 & 2 to fulfill their organizational missions.
