Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to initiate a Basic Ordering Agreement with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation Stratford, CT 06497-9129. The purpose of the proposed BOA and all subsequent order placed under it is to procure Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE), Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Sustaining Engineering to support the H60 Program. The proposed acquisition is for a PSE and technical data for which the Government does not own specifications or drawings. Sikorsky is the original designer and developer of the H-60 aircraft. The technical data and drawings for the aircraft are proprietary to Sikorsky. NAWCADLKE intends to procure this sonar system under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C) (1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. No solicitation package is available for this procurement. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See Note 22.
