Description

This announcement is for an unrestricted acquisition. The U.S. Department of State(DOS), Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement is seeking to procure one ?Cessna 208 Caravan or equivalent? meeting the technical requirements and statement of work posted in the request for proposal. Prospective aircraft shall be fully operational and airworthy and shall be certified by the FAA. The solicitation will be available electronically on the Department of State Website on or about 22 Sept 2001. Requests for solicitation will not be accepted. Proposals will be due approximately 15 days after issuance of solicitation. Complete proposal instructions are listed in the solicitation. The NAICS for this award is 441229. The government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Award will be made on the basis of the lowest evaluated price of proposals meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards for non-cost factors. The evaluation factors (technical requirements) will be rated acceptable/unacceptable. Award will be made to the bidder whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is the most advantageous to the Government.=20 All questions pertaining to this solicitation must be in writing to Lisa Goodwine and may be submitted by email to goodwinelc@state.gov. The solicitation will be issued via the Internet on www.fedbizopps.gov , no hard copies will be issued.
