Description

17. The proposed Request for Quotation listed here is a 100% Set-aside for Small Business. Request for Quotation is for a commercial item acquisition to rent temporary boilers at Phelps Vocational High School. The acquisition will be for 12 month base year with an option to extend the terms for an additional 12 month period. Schedule for Start up: For the purposes of this requirement, the heating season shall be from October 9, 2001 through April 30, 2002. The Contractor shall meet milestone dates detailed in the following paragraph "Schedule for Start Up", and provide heating beginning October 15, without interruption until the end of the contract period of performance. The Contracting Officer shall make the determination whether the option shall be exercised for extending the services for an additional heating season. Complete installation of boilers. Perform hook-up, start-up tests, and inspections of temporary boilers and central heating plant equipment. October 10 complete all additional work on boiler plant equipment. Have required operation permit posted. Be ready to provide hear if weather creates a necessity. October 15, 2001 Begin to provide heat. The Request for Quotation shall be available on the Corps website to register download at https://ebs.nab.usace.army.mil o/a 20 September 2001. A site visit is schedule on Tuesday, 25 September 2001 at 10:00 A.M. EST. Quotations are due at 2:00 P.M. EST 28 September 2001 See numbered not 1.
