Description

The Bureau of Public Debt (BPD) as an acquisition agent for the Office of Special Counsel intends to acquire on a sole-source basis through Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, fare media to provide public transportation for federal employees of office within the DC Metropolitan area. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, and no solicitation documents are available. Information received will be considered only for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement, which is solely with the discretion of BPD. Only written responses are acceptable. Any written response should include full costing information, as well as descriptive literature containing sufficient technical documentation to establish a bonafide capacity to meet the requirements. Written responses must be received by September 26, 2001. Interested offerors may register at http://www.fedbizopps.gov to receive notification when any amendments are issued and available for downloading. Please note that the General Services Administration provides the notification service as a convenience and does not guarantee that notifications will be received by all persons on the mailing list. Therefore, we recommend that you monitor the FedBizOpps site for all information relevant to desired acquisitions.
