Solicitation No.: N00033-01-R-5301 Proposal Due Date: 05 November 2001, 1500 EST Originator: PM53P, Surge Project Office Description: The Surge Project Office of the Sealift Program, Military Sealift Command Headquarters in Washington, D.C., seeks to acquire layberth services for four Fast Sealift Ships (FSSs) (two lots) on the U.S. East Coast and U.S. Gulf for five years (a three year base period plus two one-year option periods) with performance periods beginning in 2002. The layberth site locations will be restricted as follows: two FSS (one lot) on the U.S. Atlantic coast, no further north than Narragansett Bay, R.I.; two FSS (one lot) on the U.S. coast of the Gulf of Mexico, comprising of the states of TX, LA, MS, AL, and FL.
