Description

The US Army Visual Information Center, Washington, DC intend to award a purchase order on a sole source basis to Sony Electronics under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however all responsible sources may submit descriptive literature which fully demonstrates their products meets the brand name specification which shall be considered by the agency. This requirementis for the following: CLIN 0001 -- 2 each Digital Betacam Recorder/Reproducer model DVW-A500; CLIN 0002 -- 2 each Decoder Board Model BKDW505; and CLIN 0003 -- 2 Rack Mount Kit Model RMM-110/US. This sole source procurement is being awarded as a commerical simplified acquisition.
