Description

This announcement is a notice of intent to award a purchase order to an approved sole source contractor in accordance with AFFAR 5313.106-1(a). The sole source contractor is JSTOR, 120 5th Avenue, 5th floor, New York, New York, and the requirement is for electronic access to non-current issues of scholarly journals for specific academic disciplines. The government intends to award a firm-fixed price purchase order for the required services. However, any contractors who believe that they have the capability to provide the necessary services may submit, for consideration by the government, a statement of capability that addresses all the customer?s requirements. Journal collections in the following disciplines are required: Arts & Sciences I, Arts & Sciences II, Business, Ecology & Botany, and General Science. Offers are due by NLT 3:00 MST on 26 Sep 01. If no favorable offers are received by the closing date, a purchase order will be issued to the above named sole source.
