Description

This announcement is a notice of intent to award a purchase order to an approved sole source contractor in accordance with AFFAR 5313.106-1(a). The sole source contractor is ProQuest Information & Learning, 300 N. Zeeb Rd., P.O. Box 1346, Ann Arbor, MI, and the requirement is for microfiche newspapers, on-line periodical abstracts, and CD ROM periodicals. The government intends to award a firm-fixed price purchase order for the required periodicals/services. However, any contractors who believe that they have the capability to provide the required services may submit, for consideration by the government, a statement of capability that addresses all the customer's requirements. The following specific requirements must be met: Denver Post, newspaper & Index on microfilm for CY 2002; Denver Rocky Mountain News, newspaper & index on microfilm for CY 2002; New York Times, newspaper & index on microfilm; Wall Street Journal, newspaper & index on microfilm; Periodical Abstracts, Research Image, Cat GP2, Electronic Format for CY 2002; and General Periodicals on CD ROM with periodical Abs Res-Image, Cat GPR, Electronic format, CY 2002. Offers are due by NLT 3:00 MST on 26 Sep 01. If no favorable offers are received by the closing date, a purchase order will be issued to the above named sole source.
