Description

This is a notice of intent to award a sole source procurement to Arden Architectural Specialties of Silver Spring, Maryland to provide wall protection materials for the VA Maryland Health Care System, 10 North Greene Street, Baltimore, MD. These materials must match existing systems in the VA facility. Arden is the manufacturer of these items and each portion of the country has their own distributor. Robb and Associations is the Maryland Distributor. Any distributor outside the Maryland area would not be allowed to honor the order. This notice is not a solicitation or a request for offers. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than September 27, 2001, at 3pm, Eastern Standard Time. Responses can be emailed to the Contracting Officer at carol.pomraning@med.va.gov.
