- Description
- The 11th Contracting Squadron intends to compete a simplified acquisition, purchase order for Two (2), New Triple Pontoon Boats. This project is being procured as a 100% small business set-aside as a combined synopsis solicitation in accordance with FAR Part 12. However, if we don't receive two or more qualified small business offers, this request will be considered full & open (competition). Therefore, submit your Firm Fixed Price bids (multiple bids will be accepted), with applicable representations and certifications, now if you want the opportunity to quote this requirement. The contractor shall be capable of providing Two (2), New Triple Pontoon Boats with the following capabilities: capacity of 15-20 people, approximately 150 horsepower (at a minimum an outboard motor [not oil injected]), a canopy (for complete coverage), all Coast Guard required equipment (for the maximum capacity of the vessel), a trailer, hands on training, and the ability to meet bridge limitations (a clearance of approximately 17 feet at High Tide). The boats are to be delivered and training rendered within 3 to 5 days from date of award. A sea trial will be conducted at that time for the purpose of inspection, prior to acceptance. Please quote minimum needs only. Keep in mind that this is NOT an all or none acquisition. We will determine the number of awards (1 or 2), in the best interest of the Government, to be made based on the information received. Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror based on the above specifications. All interested parties must submit their offers to the 11th Contracting Squadron/LGCN, Attn: Natalie A. Sitkowski/Connie Ginn at 110 Luke Avenue, Room 250, Bolling AFB DC 20332-0305 no later than 1:00PM (eastern standard time) on Friday (21 Sep 01).
