- Description
- We anticipate redecorating 12 of our transient houses on Goddard Ave at White Sands Missile Range, NM over the next five years. We are looking for an interior designer to work with us in accomplishing this goal. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation f or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation, proposals ar e being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-21. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small businesses. N AICS code 561790 is assigned with a small business size standard of $5M. The following provisions and clauses are applicable to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items(Reference); 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Full-text below); 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items (Reference); 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items (Reference); 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items (Reference). All cla uses listed as reference may be viewed in full text at www.arnet.gov/far/. All of the houses in question are 3-bedroom, 2-bath, living room, dining area and kitchen. Distinguished visitors and other personnel (including families) who are visiting or temp orarily assigned to White Sands Missile Range use these houses. A fixed-price task order contract with a ceiling of $500,000 will be awarded as a result of this competition. As funds become available for one or more houses, you will be requested to submi t a proposed design within the budget we provide you. A task may require complete redecorating of a house to include all furniture, all pictures and other wall decorations, plants, carpet, bedspreads, plantation shutters, and kitchenware. Or a task may i nclude only a portion of these requirements and you must present a design that incorporates the furniture and fixtures that are to remain. A committee will evaluate your proposal to determine if any changes are desired or required. Once a final design is agreed upon, you will be responsible for obtaining all furniture and fixtures and setting them up. In other words, you will turn over to us a finished product. We will provide dumpsters at the site. The awardee of this contract will be selected using b est -value techniques and in accordance with the clause at 52.212-2.
