Description

Logistics and Customer Service Support for the DOE Nonproliferation and National Security Institute (Solicitation No. DE-RP04-01AL67184) Announcement The Albuquerque Operations Office (AL) of the U. S. Department of Energy (DOE) is cancelling its plans to issue a solicitation for "Logistics and Customer Service Support for the DOE Nonproliferation and National Security Institute (NNSI)." Therefore, the presolicitation announcement posted to the Commerce Business Daily on June 5, 2001, is hereby rescinded. DOE has made a programmatic decision to contract with a local 8(a) HubZone Certified, Small-Disadvantaged, Woman-Owned Small Business to perform these functions. The DOE has already identified such a concern through the Small Business Administration and plans to award a contract to this concern on a sole source basis in accordance with procedures outlined in FAR Subpart 19.8.
