Description

MODIFICATION SYNOPSIS FOR SOLICITATION N00600-00-R-2400 SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT -- The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center Norfolk Detachment Washington intends to issue a modification that increases the scope of contract number N00600-00-C-2400 with Ruehlin Associates. The contract includes naval retention training and counseling services from Ruehlin Associates of Coronado, CA in the form of: technical training development consulting, career decision training, career decision instructor training, and preparation and updating of course material. The scope will be heightened in that the previously awarded quantities will be increased. This requirement is for the Navy Personnel Command in Millington, TN. The contract will be awarded under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1. The sole source vendor holds proprietary data rights on the training materials and maintains a training staff consisting of retired Navy Captains and above. The contract is a Firm-Fixed-Price with performance of this modification beginning in October 1, 2001.
