Description: Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source Procurement. The Government intends to issue a sole source purchase order for annual renewal of Platforms Load Sharing Facility (LSF) software License and Support through Platform Computing Corporation, 3760 14th Avenue, Markham, ON, L3R3T7. Platform Software Support is to be provided to United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM), J6312, Offutt AFB, NE. The 55th Contracting Squadron intends to award a purchase order by other than full and open competition in accordance with Subpart 6.302-1 (a)(2)(ii) Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on installed software which is proprietary to Platform Computing Corporation and its use is restricted in accordance with FAR clause 52.227-19(Commercial Computer Software?Restricted Rights (Jun 1987).
