Description

The Utah Department of Health, Division of Health Care Financing, has issued a request for proposals (RFP) to solicit competitive proposals for a Drug Rebate Management system for the Utah Title XIX Medical Assistance Program. Qualified contractors are to present the Division with a proposal to deliver the following systems functionality: 1. It must handle all drug rebate transactions and operational needs. 2. It must be able to maintain all appropriate codes with regard to the drug rebate submissions and the detailed records on specific drug claims. 3. It must be able to maintain an audit trail of changes made to a specific Drug Rebate Management claim. 4. It must have a comprehensive training program developed to transition from the current manual system to the new automated system. This training system must anticipate questions and conflicts regarding use of the system. 5. The Division is seeking software that will operate on a current state platform owned by the division and interface with the state's Medicaid Data Warehouse, the repository for detailed drug claims.
