Description

The Bureau of Land Management, San Juan Public Lands Center, Canyons of the Ancients National Monument, has a requirement to conduct and complete Class III Inventories for a specific tract of land in Montezuma County, Colorado. The tracts include approximately 4,000 acres. The general tasks involved in this effort include planning, fieldwork, analysis, and report preparation. The primary tasks of this procurement are to conduct and document Class III cultural resource inventory of public lands; to identify, record and evaluate all cultural sites for eligibility to the National Register of historic places; and to evaluate the current condition of cultural resource sites for impacts from human, motorized, mechanized, or animal-related activity. Secondary tasks include the technical editing and desk top publishing of documents, compiling of inventory data, records maintenance, and site file and site atlas updating of CANM and OAHP records. It is estimated that the solicitation will be available by September 21, 2001. This requirement is for a base performance period of one year with two one-year options. Note 1.
