- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation F26600-01-QB746 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12 and 13. This is 100% reserved for small business. The Standard Industry Classification (SIC) for this solicitation is 5078 and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 42174. Based on Standard Size 100 employees. The item description is as follows: 1 Each Carrier, 209 Ton Air-Cooled Liquid Chiller, Part Number 30GXN225-A641 (or equal). Chiller shall be chlorine free HFC 134A Refrigerant, three (3) rotary screw compressors, dual independent refrigerant circuits, and a 125 DEG electric service rating. Unit shall have a four line 20 character per line hand held navigator display module is also necessary to perform service test procedures, set schedules and set points, identify operating modes and run status, display operating temps and pressures, identify abnormal (alarm/alert) conditions, configure unit operation. This unit shall include automatic compressor lead-lag by run time switching. Unit shall have factory supplied safeties, electrical/thermal overload, high pressure, low oil pressure, lose of refrigerant charge, loss of phase, reverse rotation, current imbalance, ground fault, low chilled water temperature, loss of water flow. Supply water temperature control by both entering and leaving temperatures, temperature will reset automatically by return water temperature. Water flow shall be approximately 445 GPMs. Unit size shall not to exceed 19'3" long by 7'6" wide and 7'3" tall. 1.7 KW/TON, 7.0 EER 446 GPM, 10 condenser fan blades 30" in diameter with 11 blades each, low noise. Refrigerant flow controlled by electronic expansion valves. Unit shall include inlet and outlet water connections 6" victaulic. Minimum load shall allow for 10 steps of capacity control down to 10% of unit capacity. Unit shall have an MRA rating of 470 or less. Bid item is as follows; Clin 0001- Chiller 209 Ton, quantity 1. Delivery date is 19 Oct 2001, place of delivery and FOB point is 99 CES/CEOS 4475 Eglin Ave. Bldg 20 Nellis AFB, NV 89191. Offerors must include with their proposal specification data along with a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, which is an attachment to this solicitation. Offerors who fail to complete and submit Representation and Certification and Specifications data may be considered non-responsive. For solicitations issued after 1 Jun 98 all ** contractors are required to Registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) **.
