- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6. as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals a re being requested and a written solicitation will not be prepared. The solicitation is being prepared as a small business set-aside under NAICS 336413 and current through FAC 97-27. The Balancer/Analyzer specifications are as follows: The requirement is for a CH-47D Aircraft Balancer/Analyzer for the purposes described in CH47-D maintenance manual TM 55-1520-240-23 Chapter 6. (Excerpts are available upon request) 1. Required Checks Are: a. Engine Drive Shafts, Longitudinal and Lateral b. C-Box Fan Drive Shafts, Longitudinal and Lateral c. Sync Shafting, Longitudinal and Lateral d. Aft Transmission Fan, Vertical and Lateral 2. The Balancer/Analyzer must be capable of all track and balance requirements, keeping in mind that the special accelerometer block takes a specific velocimeter. Include power supply (115) that would plug in for track and balance display use at shop wor k area. The contractor is to provide all kit/component manuals to include those for Service/Parts, Maintenance, Operator, and Calibration Procedures. The contractor is to provide On-Site Training. 3. The specific kits and components required to support the above are identified that are Chadwick Helmuth part numbers. The contract will be awarded based on greater than or equal equipment.
