Description

This is a SYNOPSIS ANNOUNCEMENT OF INTENT TO AWARD a contract for commercial supplies and services. Contract shall be prepared in accordance with information in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. Thi s synopsis constitutes the only announcement. Award shall be a firm fixed-price contract. Award shall incorporate clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular #97-27. This award is made on an unrestricted basis. The NAICS code is 333618 Engine s. The Alaska Army National Guard has a requirement for upgrade of an existing Super Flow Dynamometer. Existing system is comprised of three major components: SF-1520 The absorber module, frame, and base complete with driveshaft and guard; SF-1820 Th e computer, data interface, and control modules; SF-1840 The cabinet which houses pressure & temperature modules, batteries, chargers, fuel pumps, and measurement systems. Upgrade will consist of: Replacing SF-1520 module with SF-3100; replacing obsolet e SF-1820; retaining SF-1840 while replacing, removing, or disabling minor components. The following clauses from the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) apply: 52.252-2, Clauses Incorporated by Reference; 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercia l Items; 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items; 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer Central Contractor Registration; and 52.247-34, FOB Destination. The government intends t o award without discussion. Delivery and acceptance shall be made FOB Destination, freight charges included in the unit price to Alaska Army National Guard, Building 49-140, Fort Richardson, AK 99505-2610. Delivery shall be made as specified unless otherw ise modified.
