Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Coastal Systems Station, Panama City, Florida, intends to award a sole-source Purchase Order to Triton Services, 9701-S Philadelphia Court, Lanham, MD 20706. The contractor shall Research and coordinate with the CSS LCAC Program Manager s Office the data requirements in developing and presenting overview of the capabilities, management reports, and file layouts of the OSCAR model for the Assault Craft Units (ACU s. Maintain a performance and usage database developed from historical end-of-quarter/year usage and performance data. Provide support for POM/Program impact issue papers, and provide support for NAVCOMPT/OSD Review. Transition the OSCAR model from a Lotus 1-2-3 based database to either Microsoft Excel or Access. Develop an updated version of the LCAC Reference Manual for distribution to the ACUs, TYCOMs, FLEETC OMs, and program support personnel Triton Services has been providing cost information and analysis to NAVSEA and the LCAC Program for 15 years. To bring another contractor up to the knowledge level that Triton Services has already obtained would take too much time and money and they own the cost model and algorithms that are used in the analysis, therefore this is a sole source procurement to Triton Services. Period of performance is 30 November 2001.
