- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 13.5 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Solicitation documents and incorporated clauses and provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation prepared and formal bid documents are not available. The VA Healthcare Network Upstate NY Buffalo VA Medical Center site, at 3495 Bailey Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14215 has a requirement for full maintenance for a Government-owned Picker Magnetic Resonance Scanner, Model VISTART System that includes CD-ROM Drive; Monitor -- 16" color; 9.3B Software Upgrade; Keyboard; VISTAR T Workstation; mouse, and Ethernet box. Maintenance shall include extended magnet coverage, cryogen service, and 12 planned service maintenance calls per year. Coverage shall include supervision, labor, parts (OEM or OEM remfg.), travel and shipping costs. Offerors must have proof of authorization for any/all proprietary software, and must be able to supply applications and maintenance to support and access this system through a modem. Servicing hours Mon-Fri 8:00 AM 5:00 PM. Offerors must provide a fully certified, experienced field service engineer to perform services. Period of performance will be one year from date of award, plus three follow-on option years. NAICS code is 541990 with a small business size standard of $5.0 million per year. All responsible sources that can meet these requirements and provide services as listed may respond to this solicitation by submitting cost and technical proposals.
