Description

This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ), number DAQ010075. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. This solicitation is set-aside for small business under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 493190. The Small Business Annual Receipts for the firm and its Affiliates, for the preceding three (3) fiscal years does not exceed $18.5 million. The contract line number is: Item 1, 40' x 60' Modular Building to include the following: Two windows on each of the building, One door on the south side, One door on the east side. The interior floor needs to be carpeted, ready for use. Contractor shall provide the following: Necessary permits to set the building; Labor, materials and equipment to install a 40' x 60' air conditioned portable building; Provide all site preparation; Provide electrical service but not any other utility; Everything provided under the contract shall conform to local building and electrical codes and industry standards; Support base shall be according to manufacturer recommendations; access to all exterior doors and match existing sidewalk constructions; Building shall be ready for occupancy upon completion of the contract. A drawing that shows the current buildings within the fire office site and the proposed location for the modular building is available by calling the Contracting Officer named above. Quantity 1 Each. The delivery date is November 30, 2001. The Delivery address is Bureau of Land Management, Lower Snake River District, 3948 Development Avenue, Boise, Idaho 83705. FOB Point is Destination. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial is applicable. The provision at 52,212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items is applicable, and the following shall be included in paragraph (a) of this provision. Quotes will be evaluated on past performance and price each of equal importance. Past performance will be based on the Contracting Officer's knowledge, contacting provided references, and other reasonable sources. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, is applicable. The clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, is applicable, and the following additional FAR clauses cited in the clause are applicable: 52.211-05, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.225-01, 52.232-34, 52.246-02.
