Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The combined synopsis/solicitation number is DAAD05-01-T-0802. CLIN 0001 FIREFIGHTING SYSTEM. The firefighting system shall include the following: 1) Monitors, remotely-controlled water delivery, POK MDL 925120, w/250 GPM Flow, 102 PSIG Monitor Inlet Operating Pressure, 6 each; 2) Nozzles, remotely-controlled adjustable fog nozzles, POK MDL 260220-5, rate at 250 GPM minimum at nozzle inlet pressure of 100 PSIG, 6 each; 3) Stands/Enclosures, protective monitor, inch thick steel construction, 6 each; 4) Valves, 2.5-in electric (24v), 6 each; 5) foam injection system, with water-charged 600-gal foam bladder tank, 1 each; and 6) control panels, POK MDL 101888(to control functions for monitor, delivery, water/foam on/off, and water pump), 3 each. Requisition Number W81C5M12490002. Acceptance shall be at Destination. Shipping shall be FOB Destination. Delivery shall be to the U.S. Army, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21010 by 12/31/01. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items applies to this acquisition; fill-ins in Paragraph (a) are "Price and Past Performance" and "less important than price". A completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, must be provided with offers. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
