Description

The U.S. Department of Education contemplates a modification for additional work under contract ED-00-CO-0090. In September 2000, U.S. Department of Education awarded a contract to Abt Associates of Cambridge, MA for "Reading Excellence Act and School Implementation and Impact Study". This modification will allow for: the site visits to begin in 2002-2003, ED is adding site visits for each year of the data collection, the sample is being changed from a cross-sectional sample of students to a longitudinal cohort of students, and a technical work group is being added. The U.S. Department of Education intends to execute this modification on or before October 25, 2001. See Note 22.
