Description

This synopsis describes an anticipated requirement for the purchase of 740 ~ 3 feet x 3 feet square sheets of polyurethane resin~bound tile made from recycled shredded tires with a minimum fall height of 10 feet for playground usage at the Child Development Centers at Maxwell AFB AL and Maxwell AFB~Gunter Annex AL. Color is Natural. The brand name is Tuff Turf, manufactured by Landscape Structures, Inc. Product offered as an equal to Tuff Turf will be reviewed for acceptance. Funds are not presently available, but are anticipated to be available before 30 Sep 01. Reference number is F13SCS12222000. A sufficient number of small business concerns have been identified to designate a 100% small business set-aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System Codes are 326299 and 339920 with a size standard of 500 employees. When or if funds become available, a commercial solicitation will be issued to give notification of the anticipated action, state specific clauses and provisions that are applicable to the acquisition and product offered as an equal to Tuff Turf will be reviewed for acceptance.
