Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an Other Than Full and Open Competition basis from Photosonics, 820 S. Mariposa St., Burbank, CA 91506, 1 each -- Phantom version 5 monochrome CMOS Camera, P/N VRI-V5-2048 MM. The sole source is based on unique capabilities of 1024X1024 pixel format array at a frame rate of 1,000 pictures per second and "snap shot" capability required to achieve precision target positioning which meets the government's minimum specifications. Responsible firms believing they can provide the above, should submit a written response to the Contracting Officer on or before 18 Sep 01, providing detailed information, clearly showing their ability to do so without causing programmatic hardship to the program.
