Description

A prospectus for award of a concession contract authorizing the operation of carriage rides, horse camp facility, day use facilities and services for visiting equestrians within Wildwood Stables, and a prospectus for award of a concession contract authorizing the operation of food service and retail sales at the Jordan Pond House and limited merchandising facilities at Cadillac Mountain and Thunder Hole Information Centers, both concession opportunities within Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, Maine, were published on June 29, 2001, with offers due on September 18, 2001. Due to the unreliability of overnight mail delivery for the forseeable future, the response date for receipt of proposals and any modifications is extended by 7 days to 4:30 P.M. on September 25, 2001.
