Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to make a single award to a responsible quoter for a non-personal service contract for Roman Catholic Services to be provided to the inmate population at the United States Penitentiary (USP) and Federal Prison Camp (FPC), Pollock, LA, in both English and Spanish. The requirement for certified Roman Catholic Priest shall consist of one to two positions working four 1-hour sessions per week normally on religious holidays or Saturdays or Sundays between the hours of 1:00 p.m. through 7:30 p.m. The total number of sessions for a 12-month contract period is estimated at 208 sessions. The contract term shall consist of a base period not to exceed 12 months with four 12-month option periods for renewal. The Contractor will conduct, but will not necessarily be limited to Roman Catholic Mass in English and Spanish, counseling, and giving guidance. The Contractor shall be a member of a recognized Roman Catholic order and will be thoroughly familiar with all facets of the Roman Catholic religious practices. The solicitation will be available on or about October 1, 2001, with a deadline for receipt of quotations on approximately, November 1, 2001. This procurement is set aside 100 percent for small business concerns. Requests for Quotations should be submitted in writing only. Telephone and facsimile request will not be accepted.
