Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F01600-01-T-0107 is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. This acquisition will be 100% set aside for small business. The NAICS code is 339920 and the business size standard is 500 employees. The Defense Priorities and Allocation System (DPAS) is C9E. This requirement is for the turnkey purchase and installation of two playground systems similar to Recreation Creations, Inc./Quality Industries Model Timberworks 7681-1P (see attached drawing for layout and part numbers). Each unit shall include the following: 0001 S-shaped tube slide (QTY: 1 EA), 0002 straight tube slide (QTY: 1 EA), 0003 spiral slide (QTY: 1 EA), 0004 double-wide slide (QTY 1 EA), 0005 climbers (QTY: 2 EA), 0006 activity panels (to include tic tac toe and steering wheel) (QTY: 1 EA), 0007 wavy horizontal ladder (QTY: 1 EA), 0008 zig zag double horizontal ladder (QTY: 1 EA), 0009 roofs (QTY: 2 EA), 0010 bubble with steering wheel (QTY: 1 EA), 0011 step bridge (QTY: 2 EA), and 0012 transition step (QTY: 1 EA). The unit shall be made of plastic except for the ladder and climbers, which shall be galvanized steel. Recycled material acceptable. Uprights are to be made of aluminum. Safety surface is to be mulch. Warranty information must be included with proposal. FOB point is destination to Hopper Lodge, Bldg 1110, Maxwell AFB AL 36112 and Lake Pippin FL. Required delivery is within 45 days after receipt of purchase order. Clauses and provisions can be accessed via the Internet at http://farsite.hill.af.mil. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated by reference and are to remain in full force in any resultant purchase order. FAR provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ?
