The above referenced request for quotation is hereby amended to respond to questions submitted and extend the due date for quotations.***QUESTION: I am sending you my question regarding the 375.00 mm Flat of Attachment #2. I would like verification that the surface to be coated is S2. S1 is the better surface and my first instincts would be to say that the S1 surface would receive the coating. Please confirm which surface is to be coated. ANSWER: Surface S1 is the optical surface to be used for interferometric testing. Surface S2 is to be aluminized to give a higher reflectivity and allow a clear distinction between reflections from surfaces S1 and S2.***The due dates of quotes is extended through Friday, September 14, 2001 at 3:00 PM eastern standard time.
