Description

The Great Lakes Acquisition Center intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Parks Medical Electronics, Inc. of Aloha, Oregon to furnish a Model 2100 Flo-Lab with Dual frequency directional Dopplers for the VA Hospital, Madison WI. NAICS: 339112. Equipment required must include a 4 MHz & 8 MHz forward and reverse Doppler Flow Indicator, (with zero crossing Doppler), dual channel PPG and PVR, automatic cuff inflator, remote bedside control for cuff inflation, single/dual channel strip and chart recorder. The chart recorder must be able to act as a back up in order for testing to be completed in the event of computer failure. Equipment must be compatible with an existing Model 2014 used by the facility. The Government believes that Parks is the only company, which can provide this equipment to meet their needs. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes however; responses received within seven (7) calendar days of the date of publication of this synopsis will be evaluated. This purchase will be done under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized under FAR 6.302-1. Any firm that believes it can furnish the items described above may give written notification to the Contracting Officer. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail, to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements.
