This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. a. The solicitation number is WRSF_00198 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). b. Brand Name, "Best Access System" is believed to be essential to the Govenment's requirements therefore precluding consideration of a product manufactured by another company. Suisun Bay Reserve Fleet has the requirement for a key control system to help manage all the keys at the Suisun Bay Reserve Fleet. There is a requirement for at least four lockers and each locker to hold forty-eight keys. The Suisun Bay Reserve Fleet master key system will allow the use of a master key to open the individual key cylinders in the lockers and also open any and all best padlocks located throughout the fleet. The key cylinders must be compatible with the "Best Access System" locking cylinders or the padlocks that are in current use. Key control system should have service representatives in the local area and include training and programming.
