Description

The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, tools, material, equipment, transportation, and supplies necessary to provide satisfactory snow removal services at the Naval Support Activity, Mechanicsburg, PA on a 24 hour basis with a 4 hour response time. Equipment required for this service is as follows: 1 to 4 front end loaders, 2 to 6 tandem axle trucks, 1 to 2 snow plows, 1 to 2 vehicles to distribute sand/salt mixture. Front end loaders must be a minimum of 4 yards. Single axle trucks are not acceptable. The term of the contract shall be for 12 months from date of award with 4 additional one year option periods. NAICS code 561790, Other Services to Buildings and Dwellings, $5 Million. Prospective contractors must register in the DOD Central Contractor Registration Database prior to award. Bidders are notified that failure to register may render their firm ineligible for award. Specifications and/or drawings will not be directly provided in a paper hard copy format or CD-ROM.
