- The Navstar Global Positioning System (GPS) Joint Program Office (JPO), HQ Space & Missile Systems Center (SMC), Los Angeles AFB, is holding a "Technology Days." The agenda will include an overview of the JPO's vision for future GPS User Equipment (UE), as well as detailed presentations on the advancements that are being made in antenna, antenna electronics (AE), and receiver technologies. Specific products that increase UE protection from signal interference, both available or in development, will be presented. Additionally, the GPS JPO has created a draft version of an Interface Control Document (ICD) to support next generation, ultra high anti-jam (A/J) capable, GPS UE system configurations. This ICD brings together many of the A/J technologies that are currently in development. All participants will be given access to a web site that contains this draft ICD as well as an opportunity to supply comments. The meetings will be held at Fort MacArthur, San Pedro, CA in the Ball and South West Rooms on October 16 and 17, 2001 from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Participation is voluntary and is at individual company expense. This meeting is for U.S. only.
