Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, John D. Dingell Medical Center, 4646 John R. Street, Detroit, Michigan 48201, intends to negotiate with Clayton Group Services, 22345 Roethel Drive, Novi, MI 48375, for fully qualified and credentialed staff to perform occupational health and sfety related duties. Services will be ordered as required and may require a Certified Industrial Hygienist, Certified Safety Professional or other technical staff. The contract employess shall be Certified Industrial Hygienist (American Board of Industrial Hygiene), or a Certified Safety Professtional (Board of Certified Safety Professionals). The proposed contract action if a BOA, which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority FAR 6.302-1. All FAR provisions and clauses maybe reviewed and/or obtained from the General Service internet address: http://www.gover/far. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract, based upon responses to this notice, is solely with the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responses must be submitted no later then September 25, 2001 at 4:00p.m. local time to the contracting officer indicated above. See numbered Note 22.
