The following requirement is being solicited: 0001 FIXTURE, LIGHTING, FLOURESCENT, SYMBOL 77.4 HIGH EFFICIENCY PER MIL-DTL-16377/11B-77.4,(A) Fixtures, lighting; and associated parts; shipboard use, general specification for MIL-DTL-16377H(SH) 2 AUGUST 1996. (B) Type 1, Class 2, Symbol 77.4, fixtures, lighting; and associated parts; shipboard use, general specification for MIL-DTL-16377H(SH), 2 AUGUST 1996. (c) Latest revision of DODISS. (D) As specified, see 6.4 note: The requirement for first article inspection may be waived for those bidders offering a product previously accepted or tested by the government. (E through L) Not required. (M) As specified, see 6.2(d) (N) Standard. The government anticipates award of a single firm fixed price, requirements type contract under procedures for commercial services (FAR part 12) using simplified acquisition procedures (FAR 13.5). Prospective offerors not CCR registered should immediately begin the registration process. The solicitation will be posted to the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil under "Business Opportunities" and solicitation number "N0040601T1569". The Government will distribute no hard copy solicitation or amendments. The Government will not mail, fax, or email the solicitation or any amendments thereto. Subsequent amendments, if any, will be transmitted ONLY via the NECO website.
