- Description
- The Virginia Contracting Activity, on behalf of the Defense Intelligence Agency/ Missile and Space Intelligence Center (DIA/MSIC), intends to procure a 32input/64 output switching system for MSIC Bldg 4545. This system consists of one Cytec MESA-16 Controller with a CM-4 IEEE-488 Talk/Listen Module, MC-2 Keypad Controller and Battery Backup RAM; two VDX/32X32-50-E-Expansion Chassis, one CTC/64-E Expansion Chassis, thirty two CXR/2X1-G-BNC Switch Modules, 64 CBX-1 (50 Ohm) Coaxial Interconnect Cables, and 8 CL8 Display/Driver Modules. It is proposed to procure this system from Cytec Corporation, since they are the only company able to meet all of the following system requirements: two solid-state 32X32 non-blocking matrices capable of full fan out and expandable. Matrix Control by both manual entry keypad and single IEEE-488 interface. Matrix Bandpass: 200Mhz for 200mVpp signal to no less than 80MHz for 2Vpp signal. The signal I/O connectors will be Rear Panel BNC and the characteristic Impedance of 50 Ohms. Crosstalk should not exceed -60dB at 10MHz and Isolation should not exceed -105dB at 10MHz. The system shall be rack mountable in a standard 19 inch rack and operate on Nominal 115VAC, 60Hertz. No other RFQs or RFPs shall be issued other than this notice.
