Description
This Request for Proposal (RFP) will result in an IDIQ type contract, and it is anticipated that multiple awards may be made from this RFP. The primary objective of the contract(s) is to provide engineering, design and/or construction services for the maintenance, repair, and rehabilitation of Fort Drum facilities. Typical work requirements are as follows: Engineering and Design/Build (all basic disciplines), and common construction tasks covering all 16 divisions of the Construction Specification Institute (CSI). The contract period shall be for a base year plus 4 option years. Work required by the contract shall be issued as individual task orders. This procurement is 100% Set-Aside for HUBZone small business concerns, pursuant to the requirements of FAR Subpart 19.1305, HUBZone set-aside procedures. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 233320. This procurement is estimated to be between $25,000,000.00 and $100,000,000.00 total (base and all options). The guaranteed minimum contract obligation per awardee is $100,000.00 per year. The maximum value for all contract awards (NOT EACH), for the base year and all options, shall not exceed $75,000,000.00. The anticipated issue/posting date will be on or about September 25, 2001. The DUE DATE for the RFP shall be 60 days after actual issuance/posting on Fort Drum's Web Page. All responsible HUBZone small businesses may submit an offer, which will be considered. The RFP will not be mailed out and no Bidder's Mailing List (BML) will be maintained. The entire RFP package will be available for downloading from the Fort Drum web page, no hard copies will be provided. All sources wishing to offer are required to monitor the Fort Drum Contracting web page for any/all amendments to the RFP. Failure to respond to any amendments may render the offer to be considered as non-responsive and thereby rejected. The offers must be supplied in hard copy form to the Directorate of Contracting, Fort Drum, NY, no electronic offers will be accepted.
