Description

This project is a flood damage reduction project for Duck Creek, Ohio which consists of the following: 1) 1,072 linear feet of channel widening (excavation); 2) Placement of stone bank protection; 3) Installation of geotextile fabric; 4)Removal of an existing 35' X 15' stone masonry bridge abutment; 5) Demolition of an abandoned concrete bridge 66'L X 36'W X 20'H (approximate); 6) Installation of a temporary railroad crossing; 7) Clearing and grubbing; 7) Seeding and mulching; 8) Installation of rock check dams and other pollution prevention measures. Solicitation Number DACW27-01-B-0016 will be issued approximately 25 September 2001 and the last day for receipt of bids will be approximately 25 October 2001 at 2:00 p.m. (local time). THIS ACQUISITION IS RESTRICTED TO SMALL BUSINESS. The NAICS code is 234990 and the small business size standard is $27.5 million. THIS PROJECT WILL BE AVAILABLE BY DOWNLOADING FROM THE INTERNET ONLY. Project specification files are portable Document Format (PDF) files and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader. The drawing files are in CAL format and can be viewed, navigated or printed using Source View Reader. Both readers are contained in the solicitation package.
